Step by step

Rating per line

Under Style / Shape you see the NRCan rating for that style and glass, including the U-factor. Lower U-factor = warmer window.

ENERGY STAR or not

The style list is split into ENERGY STAR Certified and Not ENERGY STAR certified.

No energy rating on file

An amber box means no NRCan rating: the unit won't be rebate eligible (BC Hydro / PNG / MNBC). You can sell it, but tell the customer before signing.

Why ratings print

The certified ratings print on the spec pages and contract. They are the customer's proof for any rebate claim.

Program

Pick the program here. With MNBC, each unit's metric U-factor must be at or below the program maximum.

N of M units qualify

The card shows how many units qualify. Units under Does not qualify for MNBC are left out of the program.

Readiness checklist

Not ready to generate an MNBC document lists what is missing. Fix each item first.

WATCH OUT β€” Never promise a rebate amount or eligibility the app doesn't show β€” ask the office or the assistant.
