Step by step

L1 β€” Base

L1 starts at the province default (30% today). You may change it from 0 to 40%.

L2 β€” Salesman

Your own discount, up to 30%.

L3 β€” General Manager

Up to 10%. Enter it only after the General Manager says yes.

WATCH OUT β€” Approval is verbal β€” the app does not stop you, so the responsibility is yours.

The 60% allowance

This line shows Used X of 60% β€” Y% left. It turns red if you go over.

Discounts cascade

Each level comes off what is left after the previous one. 30% then 10% is 37% off, not 40%.

TIP β€” Trust the Net subtotal, not the percentages.

Additional Discount ($)

A flat dollar amount off before tax. Above $1,500 it needs owner (or admin) approval, unless an offer sets it (up to the offer's amount).

Over policy?

The app shows the exact fix, for example L2 is 35% β€” the maximum is 30%. Correct it; never work around it.

Deposit

Switch between % and $ to set the deposit. Balance on install is what is left. If the customer finances with Financeit, the deposit is the first draw and can't exceed 25% of the project total.

Read the totals

Check Net subtotal, Tax and TOTAL in Step 4 Β· Balance before you show the customer.

πŸ’Ύ Save Quote

Press πŸ’Ύ Save Quote to store it. The tour never presses it for you.

Offers

Promo offers sit above the discount fields. Chapter 11 teaches them step by step.
