Step by step

Your customer list

You see the customers you own, created, or have a quote on. Office staff and admins see everyone.

Search

Type a name, phone or email. Always search before you create a new customer.

WATCH OUT — Searching first is how you avoid duplicate cards.

Tabs

All, Has sold jobs and Needs review filter the list. Needs review means the card's contact details are missing or look doubtful.

Owner

The rep responsible for this customer. If a customer you need belongs to another rep, contact the office.

Contacts

All phones and emails for this customer, and the preferred contact time.

Addresses

The billing address and any job sites. The job site is where the windows are installed.

Quotes on this card

The main quote sits on top; other options are listed as Alternatives. Each shows its number, status and total.

History

Everything that happened to this card: created, merged, owner changes and more.

After the sale

When a quote is sold, the office assigns a PO number, the quote locks, and the office moves the job to the company job system (the automatic send is off today). You do not enter jobs anywhere else.

Contracts & Rechecks

Each signed contract on the card is listed here with its PO#. Generate Recheck makes the installer's Recheck / Measure Form for that contract, and every version stays in the list to download.
